- Immersive 剧院; interactive/participatory art; live action role-playing game (LARP).
- Making temporary communities - bringing together 观众 or participants in person or digitally to 经验 something together.
- Using instruction-based 性能 - where the players, 观众, participants are given instructions to follow to take part in the 经验.
- Use audio technology - Using audio equipment to apply voice, music and sound in the project.

- Explore themes of 公共空间, 特权, 亲密, 关怀与归属.
- 研究 how creative, artistic, and other practices (e.g. 剧院, 性能, 游戏, larp) generate temporary spaces and communities to encourage social interaction, 亲密, 信任与协作.
- Investigate digital technology and its impact on individual and collection imagination, 代理和与地点的关系.

- Develop artistic research, addressing societal challenges.
最终项目:
- The final project can take on any artistic form as long as it responds to the original brief.
- The candidate can demonstrate and evidence previous 经验 as the main artist - or one of the lead artists - in projects of their chosen area of exploration.
- The practical application of research accounts for 50% of the 博士学位 submission. The remaining 50% will be written word (minimum 40,000 words).

The selected candidate will also receive a bursary of a minimum of £17,每年668, 为期三年(如进展令人满意), which is paid on a monthly basis towards their living costs.

This 奖学金 is for a student - also referred to as a researcher - who identifies as D/deaf, 残疾和/或神经发散.

- Can demonstrate previous 经验 of research and professional practice in this project area - as a main or lead author/artist.

作为投稿的一部分, you will be allowed to submit additional information about your past projects as a lead or main artist. They can be in a portfolio format (PDF file, no more than 5 pages). They can also be links to websites and documentation of your projects.

If you are successful in the first stage of application, we will invite you to submit a full application via the University's 博士学位 application system, 接下来是面试.
This is a competitive process and only one 奖学金 will be awarded. We will only invite applicants who meet the criteria, to progress to 第二阶段.
